Campus for Research Excellence And Technological Enterprise (CREATE)

The setup of CREATE was first endorsed by the Research, Innovation and Enterprise Council (RIEC) of the National Research Foundation (NRF) in 2006. This was followed by the commencement of the first research program (the Infectious Diseases Interdisciplinary Research Group of the SMART alliance center) in July 2007. The CREATE campus building was officially opened in November 2012 by Singapore's Prime Minister Mr. Lee Hsien Loong. CREATE currently hosts 7 entities with alliances built between local Universities (NUS, NTU, SUTD) and top Universities from around the world (such as MIT, ETH Zurich to name a few).
