Police Officers have been dispatched to calls the same way for over 100 years. This process hasn't changed. Frequently, vital information and precious time is lost in the process of the victim/witness calling 911, the dispatchers taking all of their information, entering it into the CAD system, then dispatching Officers. FIRE/EMS systems don't dispatch this way. Neither should the police.
