The Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency, MSB, develops the individual’s and society’s capacity to prevent, deal with and learn from emergencies and disasters. We work in close cooperation with the municipalities, the county councils, other authorities, the private sector, and organisations to achieve increased safety and security at all levels of society – from the local to the global community. MSB also has important tasks within the civil defence. We offer various work opportunities within several areas, for instance information security, emergency preparedness, decision support systems, supported supervision, analysis, inspections, regulations and operations abroad. MSB conducts hundreds of operations on a yearly basis. We continuously look for staff within various competencies to our roster.
