Venti LLC

Venti, a service-disabled veteran owned small business (SDVoSB), is an advanced technology firm. The Company is focused on innovation for emergency responder/search & rescue forces to maximize their performance while reducing their risk to debilitating/life threatening hazards. Our proposal is based on utilizing Venti’s Intelipod system; a networked small, expendable (consumable), configurable, scalable, and deployable set of sensor pods that detect and geo-locate a wide range of data in emergency environments and transmit actionable information to personal computing devices & the IoT (the Cloud). The Intelipod system can assess and monitor very dynamic environments that could seriously degrade human performance. By helping reduce human exposure to dangerous/explosive fumes and/or temperatures that exceed personnel protective gear, the result will greatly improve response effectiveness. Key performance enablers (include but not limited to): 1. Identifying when/where to commit emergency crews 2. Predict when emergency crew performance will start to degrade 3. Provide Situational Awareness (SA) for the management and monitoring of personnel performance 4. Highlight most probable area/location for survivors in a Search and Rescue (SAR) scenario, thereby accelerating rescue operations and minimizing rescue crew exposure. There is no one system/product available that can simultaneously look at a broad spectrum of environmental hazards/factors and produce a comprehensive picture to the situation to the emergency responder. This project will design an advanced network of sensors across a broad spectrum of critical data elements and integrate them into an actionable common operating picture (COP), based in the Cloud and accessible throughout the organizational/unit chain of command. Venti’s proposal offers a fresh look at increasing response performance and survivability by providing critical, timely actionable information for all responding personnel.
