Description
The Miami-Dade Police Department’s Forensic Services Bureau has a robust NIBIN program. It strives to meet or exceed MROS standards on the large amount of firearm and casing evidence it receives. As a result, a foundation has been established for downstream intelligence efforts. An intelligence analyst within the FSB receives the NIBIN link information and utilizes various programs to create Crime Gun Event reports. These reports communicate the significance of the forensic links by displaying the inner connections of criminal events and violent groups, generating concise investigative leads for detectives and prosecutors to use during the course of their investigation. This webinar will show you how forensic data can be utilized for actionable intelligence.
