In an effort to keep up with staffing shortages, agencies have turned to lateral hires as a way to fill this gap. The lateral-hire employee is usually experienced and knowledgeable in the law. But they also have to be trained in the ways of the new agency and this occurs through the Field Training program. Join us as we will explore the how and why of training lateral-hires without the risk of losing the lateral or creating additional organizational liability.
