The Israel Innovation Authority, an independent publicly funded agency, was thus created to provide a variety of practical tools and funding platforms aimed at effectively addressing the dynamic and changing needs of the local and international innovation ecosystems. This includes early-stage entrepreneurs, mature companies developing new products or manufacturing processes, academic groups seeking to transfer their ideas to the market, global corporations interested in collaborating with Israeli technology, Israeli companies seeking new markets abroad, and traditional factories and plants seeking to incorporate innovative and advanced manufacturing into their businesses.
Smart Transportation - Israel Innovation Authority
The computerization of motor vehicles and their surroundings is causing dramatic changes in the global automotive industry. This trend offers the Israeli technology sector far-reaching opportunities to become a part of the international automotive industry. Israel is at the forefront with the world’s most advanced technologies relevant to Smart Transportation and most of the world's tier 1 car manufacturers already present and tapping local tech scene... so, "Can you afford not to be here"?
The incentive program supports commercial companies currently developing new products or upgrading an existing technology.
Benefits to both Parties:
• Financial support of between 20%-50% of the approved R&D expenditure.
• Companies operating in Development Zones are eligible for 10% additional support, and those operating in the areas around the Gaza Strip are eligible for 25% additional support.
• Preferential funding terms for a startup corporation owned by minority population and/or UltraOrthodox and/or women entrepreneurs of amounts up to 75% funding in the first year and 70% in the second year.
