UgoRound

We’re offering a “First-to-Know” (GIS) Alert Map plugin for public safety agencies. The Map can be updated with Alerts - be it a Warning, Incident or helpful Community notification. The Content Management System allows the agency to easily create Alerts that are in the recognised (CAP) Common Alerting Protocol format. Our system is scalable and aims to return people to the agency website to obtain the most up to date and trusted source of information that affects community safety. In addition, the system includes a companion app that people can receive "First to Know" Alerts. The app allows community leaders (for example Public Safety Communication Officers) to message and post efficiently and foster support for public safety initiatives, while also ensuring that communities are hearing from local authorities as soon as possible. It’s 100% free and anonymous for end-users, doesn’t collect user data, and publishes the same information across any relevant social media platforms (like local government Facebook or Twitter pages) in addition to automatically updating the agency website via the dynamic Alert Map plugin.
