Overview

Team 3rd Eye App is focused on building a platform that maintains the chain of custody of smartphone captured video. So that civilians can share captured videos directly with the authorities and in turn the authorities have another trusted source of video evidence.

When 3rd Eye App (3rd) is initiated on an Android or Apple smartphone, it captures audio, video, time, date, location, and simultaneously uploads that information to a secure cloud storage. Once the upload is complete the user then has the ability to share the captured video along with its supporting data directly with other users of the 3rd’s service.

Recipients will come in the form of an Individual Account (ex. student to SRO) or an Organization’s Account (ex. SRO to Police Department). Either way the recipient, regardless of their device will receive all supporting info with the originally captured video in it’s authentic form and can trust that it has not been altered or tampered with in any way.
